My campus story
SELF IDENTIFICATION

Just like any other teen or should I say kid! I grew up admiring to join university. I spent all my highschool working so smart so that I can be able to face the other 'beautiful' bridge of my academic as I used to be told how sweet and you don't have to work hard at campus but only to enjoy campus life as I grew up.
My dream of joining university come to fullfilment back in 2020 on September when I enrolled at TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF MOMBASA, to pursue my dream, career and my passion in Mass Communication.

Life in campus is amazing but never easy for starters, especially when you 'Naive' don't be schoked when I use that name I simply mean a girl from the village who is on her own in this big city of Mombasa , knowing No One or anything about and around the city, before I forget she knows nothing about even campus at all. At some point along the way I learnt that life challenges you, you learn from it and the most important you pick up yourself and fight to fullfil my dreams and be that 'Big' famous Journalist I have always pictured myself as since I was a little baby girl. So I had to learn the city and adapt the new life.
You know what, apart from being that introvert not knowing any one I had to learn how to make friends and also make my life as interesting and enjoyable as possible my period around Technical University of Mombasa. Make friends it's never easy as we all sometimes picture it, Have ever thought that friends can break you into piece I mean you can be heartbroken by a friend? This is one of the things I had to learn a hard way since I only thought heartbreaking can only be from girlfriend and boyfriend, but you know what I always say it is apart of growing and realizing yourself and being in a reality world and maturing. Apart from all that, there are those amazing people I have met.

I have always been a Girl full of Big dreams, but the heartful part is that I have always gave the things out there awaiting me to do a bigger thought and this made me forget that I should find a way to make my dreams happen. I am thankful to my family, friends, my lectures and Almighty who have being helpful in realizing what really drives me and a channels to make my dreams happen.
Being around Technical University of Mombasa I have learnt alot, that university is never the picture I painted on my mind from all what I really heard when I was young but a place that really doesn't tolerate people who are on their comfort zones . Seconds, being around new place, new people and different life, many things can change your perspective but there is only on thing will always stand constantly and that's MYSELF.
Campus life is really Amazing, the fun , the classes, friends and the experience it's one awesome things in one's campus life. Through all rough and soft lines of the journey I am THANKFUL that now I am done with my diploma course and now I have a different perspective on the world and on my life and I Know the importance of being alive for the next chapter of my life starting next year.

It has also helped me it has also helped me learn to accept other people the way they are, I have learnt being honest with myself no matter what, I have learnt to always to let go things and friends who don't help me develop and move on with life. This has taught me that friendship can only work if commitment is both way and respect comes equally. I have also made me realize myself and learnt a life away from home and depending on myself. Life got it's rough ways and it always expects you to get to the end of the tunnel and see the light on the that other side of the tunnel. The funny thing you have to do all that by yourself no matter what and no excuses. For the world doesn't favor any being.
